conference-2016Symposium Theme: The impact of accredited professional development on assessment of, for and as, learning.

Please join us for stimulating presentations and discussion in three different break-out session bands:

  1. Student-led Learning, where different approaches to assessment using e-portfolios, collaboration and other methods will be examined.
  2. Effective Assessment, with talks on effective continuous assessment, CPD for lecturers new to higher education and the use of images in assessment.
  3. AISHE (All Ireland Society for Higher Education) sessions will cover some of the contents of the soon-to-be published e-book.

Keynote Speakers are:

  • Prof. Tom Collins, Chair of the Governing Bodies of both DIT and IT Blanchardstown, Interim CEO of Technological Higher Education Association (THEA)
