Symposium Theme: The impact of accredited professional development on assessment of, for and as, learning.
Please join us for stimulating presentations and discussion in three different break-out session bands:
- Student-led Learning, where different approaches to assessment using e-portfolios, collaboration and other methods will be examined.
- Effective Assessment, with talks on effective continuous assessment, CPD for lecturers new to higher education and the use of images in assessment.
- AISHE (All Ireland Society for Higher Education) sessions will cover some of the contents of the soon-to-be published e-book.
Keynote Speakers are:
- Prof. Tom Collins, Chair of the Governing Bodies of both DIT and IT Blanchardstown, Interim CEO of Technological Higher Education Association (THEA)
